Wrx Launch Control Patch

He's got the patch on his website now. I installed it last night with some default setting and it was a bit of hit and miss with launching and shifting. I then searched this forum a bit and found few settings that I should change to make everything work better. I did all this today and now it's a lot better. Here are my changes: -Changed both my delta values to 2500 so it launches at 4500rpm ( I have the XTP stage 1 and it's red line is 7000rpm).

4000rpm launches were pretty good, 5000rpm was pretty crazy and there was a lot of wheel spin, etc. The flat foot shifting is hard to really figure out for the perfect speeds at every gear. I find that if I shift around 6000rpm, then it's real nice for first and keep on lower the shift points going up the gears. -I changed the LC disable speed to 3mph -in the misc limits, I changed the Rev limit (fuel cut) to 'on above' 7000rmp and 'off below' 6990rpm. This gives me a quicker on/off rev cut off than the standard one set at 50rpm. -I also set my 'rev limit fuel resume (boost)' to 20 since my max boost is 16.5 I think. I read that things can sometimes bog and it'll wait for the boost to go way down before jumping back up.

This lets it try and maintain boost. Is there anything else that's missing? I'm going to have to do a few logs and see if anything is off and try and figure out the perfect shifting points. I have to say that keeping boost in between shifts makes things a lot smoother and less jerky and my car really seems to take off Thanks to everyone that posted stuff on the 08 wrx launch control thread. I must have read it over 3-4 times last night and it really helped me in figuring some stuff out. What are your delta values for your 09 eminehart?

I've been trying to find my shifting sweet spots and I've been finding that a bit over 6000rpm for 1st, around 6000rpm for 2nd, 5500rpm for 3rd and 5000rpm for 4th works great with a 4500rpm cut off. Yeah things are a little different up here in Colorado. Are turbos are much slower to spool.

I have to take 1st out to almost 6500 to stay in the powerband. Warkey 1.24 more. But I am using 6000 for 2nd and I don't know for sure about 3rd. I honestly haven't driven the car that hard after the 2-3 shift. I am keeping FFS to 4500 RPM. 7000 redline, 2500 delta.
